About the Punjab Agent Register Directory
Where the data comes from
Every listing is reproduced from an official government register — the District Magistrate / NRI Affairs travel-agent registers published by each Punjab district (and the relevant Chandigarh and Haryana sources for the tricity). Each agent profile links the exact government document it was read from, with the date it was fetched, so you can verify every fact at source.
Our verification policy
We publish only what the official register states. Licence status ("valid", "expired", "cancelled", "listed") is derived directly from the register entry. We never label an agent "fraud" or "illegal" — an agent not found in a register is described as exactly that. Entries read by OCR from scanned PDFs carry a visible "auto-read — verify at source" notice. Reviewed against official government sources; figures that change (fees, fund thresholds) are dated and linked — always verify at the source.
What we are not
Recepta is a directory, not an agent, and this is public-record information, not immigration advice. We do not sell visas, guarantee outcomes, or take a cut of any agent's fee. Agents can claim their own listing for free.
