LOR (Letter of Recommendation)
A letter from a teacher or employer vouching for your academic ability or work, submitted with university applications.
Most universities ask for one to three LORs. They should be written by someone who taught or supervised you and can speak to real achievements. Generic or self-written LORs are easy to spot and weaken an application.
