Visa interview
A face-to-face (often at the US consulate) or credibility interview where an officer checks you are a genuine student before deciding your visa.
Common for the US F-1 and used as a credibility interview by the UK and others. Answer honestly and consistently with your SOP and funds — know your course, university, costs and post-study plan. Rehearsed or contradictory answers are a common refusal reason.
