What documents do I need for a study visa?
Every country needs a valid passport, an acceptance/enrolment letter from an approved institution, proof of funds, an English-test score and academic transcripts. Country-specific extras (a PAL for Canada, a CAS for the UK, an I-20 for the USA) are listed per country in the checklist above.
Should an agent keep my original documents?
No. A genuine agent never needs to hold your original passport or certificates or ask for the full fee in cash upfront. Keep your originals, get every promise in writing, and verify the agent's licence on the official register first.
