Conditional & unconditional offer

A conditional offer holds your place if you meet remaining requirements (e.g. IELTS or final marks); an unconditional offer confirms you have already met them all.

Most Indian students first get a conditional offer, then convert it to unconditional by submitting the pending IELTS score, final transcript or fee deposit. You usually need an unconditional offer (and the enrolment confirmation) before the visa stage.
