PAL (Provincial Attestation Letter)
A letter from a Canadian province confirming your study-permit application counts within its cap; most 2024-onward applications need one.
Canada introduced PALs when it capped study-permit intake. The institution or province issues it; without a required PAL, IRCC returns the application. Rules change often — confirm whether your level and province need one at IRCC.
