IELTS in Punjab: test dates, fees and how to book
How to book, step by step
Create an account on the British Council or IDP IELTS website; choose IELTS Academic (for university) or General Training (for migration/work); pick a test date and an official centre in your city; upload your passport (the ID you'll bring on test day); and pay the fee. You'll get separate dates for the Listening/Reading/Writing sitting and the Speaking interview.
Where the test is held
IELTS is conducted only at official British Council and IDP locations — a coaching centre is not a test centre. See our list of official IELTS test centres in Punjab and Chandigarh to find one near you and go straight to the official booking site.
A note on fees
The IELTS fee in India is set by the conductors and revised periodically, so check the current amount on the official British Council or IDP site when you book. Beware anyone promising a guaranteed band or "management" of your result — the test is secure and results cannot be bought.
