Financial sponsor / affidavit of support
A declaration (often by a parent) confirming who will fund your studies and that the money is available — part of the proof-of-funds for a study visa.
A sponsor (usually a parent or close relative) declares they will fund your studies, backed by bank statements, income proof and the relationship. It supports the proof-of-funds requirement. Funds must be genuine and traceable — inflated or borrowed-just-for-show balances are a common refusal reason.
