Proof of funds
Evidence that you can pay tuition and living costs — bank statements, a loan sanction, or a blocked/GIC account, depending on the country.
Each country sets a minimum and a format (Canada uses a GIC + tuition; Germany a €11,904 blocked account as of 2024; the UK 28 days of held maintenance funds). Funds must usually be genuine, from a traceable source, and held for a set period. Confirm the current figure on the official immigration site before you budget.
