|---|---|
| Canada | CAD $150 (study permit) |
| UK | ~£524 (Student visa) + IHS separately |
| Australia | ~AUD $1,600 (Subclass 500 base) |
| USA | US $185 visa fee + US $350 SEVIS I-901 |
| New Zealand | ~NZD $430 (student visa) |
| Germany | ~€75 (national D visa) |
| Ireland | €60 (single) / €100 (multi) long-stay |
What the fee does and does not cover
The visa fee is only the application charge. On top of it you must still show proof of funds (tuition + living), and you may pay separately for biometrics, a medical exam, and health cover or surcharge (like the UK IHS). Budget for the full picture, and never pay a visa fee in cash to an agent — pay the government directly through the official portal.
